In this course, students will develop an understanding of the origins and development of philosophy in ancient Greece and Rome. They will explore key philosophers and their main ideas, learning to explain, compare, and apply philosophical concepts to ethical and social questions. By the end of the course, students will be able to connect ancient philosophical thinking to modern perspectives.
