Modern neuroimaging techniques allow addressing questions relevant for learning and education. Besides promising empirical findings about the “learning brain”, critical voices have been raised about the relevance and the limits of Educational Neuroscience. The aim of the seminar is to introduce students to neuroimaging techniques and to discuss selected research findings within the field of Educational Neuroscience. A special focus is given on popular fallacies about the human brain, so-called neuromyths.

Students will be asked to give a presentation.
